Active Members who participate between April 24th – June 28th of 2024 are eligible for the Samsung 55" TV Giveaway. At the end of the event, all steps will be totaled within 15-days from event closure, and a singular winner will be awarded. There is also the potential for additional prizes!

Ever wanted an example of walking program focused on wellness, incorporating not just physical activity but also elements to promote mental well-being and overall health? We have a great example for you!
Week 1: Mindful Walking
- Day 1: 15-minute walk focusing on deep breathing and being present in the moment
- Day 2: Rest or meditation
- Day 3: 20-minute walk, noticing and appreciating nature around you
- Day 4: Rest or yoga session
- Day 5: 25-minute walk, practicing gratitude and positive affirmations
- Day 6: Rest or journaling session
- Day 7: 30-minute walk, reflecting on your goals and intentions for the program
Week 2: Strength and Stretch
- Day 1: 20-minute walk with bodyweight exercises (e.g., squats, lunges)
- Day 2: Rest or stretching routine
- Day 3: 25-minute walk, focusing on posture and core engagement
- Day 4: Rest or yoga session
- Day 5: 30-minute walk with light resistance bands for upper body
- Day 6: Rest or foam rolling session
- Day 7: 35-minute walk, ending with a full-body stretch
Continue to alternate between mindful walking, strength training, stretching, and mental wellness activities throughout the remaining weeks, gradually increasing the duration and intensity of your walks. Remember to listen to your body, stay hydrated, and prioritize rest and recovery.
By combining physical activity with mindfulness, strength training, and self-care practices, this wellness-focused walking program aims to enhance not only your physical fitness but also your mental and emotional well-being.
